For details: books@avidreader.com.au April 1: “Am I Black Enough for You?” – a Sunday yarn with Anita Heiss (Brisbane, QLD) Join Anita and a collective of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists in a creative discussion which will explore and challenge the question, ‘Am I Black enough for you?’ which is also the title of Anita’s first memoir. The collective, in conversation with Anita, will present their own stories and experiences of being Black, what it means, the struggles and how it shapes their identity in Australia today.
